Grandma's My Buddy

Grandma Taylor and Ashtyn are buddies. She love to be her sidekick and work next to her while grandma is doing projects.

This morning grandma is sewing and so Ashtyn sat next to her to sort. I guess she thought she did not have enough things to sort, and she claimed to all of grandmas spools of thread too.

Swimming at the Pool

Josh and I have been taking Ashtyn to the rec pool to swim this past could of week. This video is from the first time that we went. It's funny to see her victory dance after she goes down the slide.

Rachel had to take her dogs to the vet for a check up, so I volunteered to watch Boston. What Rachel didn't know was this babysitting session came complete with a "up-do" for Boston. I think that a faux hawk suits him well.

I got Ashtyn all dress to go swimming at the pool and then could not find our ID cards for the Frisco Athletic center, and then I forgot that the car seat was not buckled in the car, so at that point I figured it was not meant to be, so instead Ashtyn got to play in the rain. She loved it. Especially splashing in the big puddles. She apparently did not mind the last minute change in plans.

Ashtyn does some crazy things.

1. She always says "mom" like it's a question.
2. She says "dad" repeatedly and then adds "tha" sounds to the last dad... why you ask, good question. Cuz she's a crazy girl.
3. She pretends she is blind. In this video it looks like she's pretending to be asleep, but don't be fooled. She goes into blind mode at random. ...when she walking at a store (this makes it awkward for onlookers) when she's eating, and as seen here when she's in the middle of a conversation in her car seat. We have no idea where she came up with this.
4. Ashtyn's favorite thing to say is, "Set... Go". She's always says the "go" delayed and in a manly voice.

She's so crazy! ...and that's why we love her so much.
